Fruit of the Loom, a big textile holding approached Interbrand, a company that pride themselves in providing quality design, to help them creating a series of corporate videos showcasing their brands and branding concepts. I've been given 2 of their brands to take care of - Hollister and Cos -, a couple of images and a copy.
Cos has a scandinavian minimalistic style then I decided to use the typography on the quotes split along with the images. All the transitions were intentionally smooth and slow in conjunction of some abstract images reinforcing the concept of the brand.Animation, Art Direction, Branding2013 -

Self started project based on some elementary quantum physics theory. It's a visual experimentation with particles and colour distortions generated by the music.The question is how can be Randomness perceived? From the chaotic universe of elements making no sense up until the point where you can start identifying patterns of behaviours and to find order and meaning within an apparent anarchy; Meaning that will much depend of the individual and personal experiences and perceptions. Meaning that's the result of the interaction between audience and the audiovisual piece.

Hollister is a brand that has this "California Dreaming - Endless Summer" garment style directed specially for the youngsters and I decided to play a bit with kinetic typography and a colour grade that transmits the idea of the 70's California.

Series of in store videos developed for the agency The One Off / Primark. The main goal was simply advertise the different clothe's offers for the back to school season. This video was to be screened in the stores of Uk, France, Portugal, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Spain - Catalonia.
I came with the idea of using some "doodle style" graphics on a notebook like we all used to do at school.

The guys at Able Media needed some help to finish this promo for the new Madness Album " Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da". My role in this project was to create and track / compose the school sign and the drawings on the chalkboard making them look integrated.To finish it up I colour graded the film and animated the end frame.

The guys at New Moon productions in London approached me asking for some graphics to be used in a corporate video for Tesco. The meaning of this video was to highlight the business sectors where the company plays a role.The requests were a graphical solution introducing the different areas and managers; It should be interesting enough to keep the attention of the audience but also It needed to be thought in a way that could be split later in 8 different videos showcasing the different areas.
I created a system based on a compass, since most of tesco's operations are around the world with a clean and modernist style using the colours and branding guidelines in a creative way. Client was very happy since they are used to see those dreadful corporate graphics most of the times.

My role in this project was compositing and tracking. Basically the commercial was already in Thai and needed to be translated for the Vietnamese market. - Or maybe was the other way around it was in Vietnamese and needed to be in Thai ?- not sure now.
So I had to recreate all the icons on the mobile' screen and track it over making them look realistic. The blue shot was ok but the yellow one was hell. I used 3d tracking, 2d tracking, manual tracking and ended up animating by hand. A bit of glow and blur on the typography and voila all Thais buying the new Nokia with windows. Or maybe the Vietnamese ?
